Explore Egypt and Its Historical Places

Egypt is one of the most historical places on the Earth. This is the place where you can fined history from tombs and mummies to museums and antiquities, Egypt has been attracting tourists around the world for thousands of years with it magnificent pyramids and other ancient structure and archeology sites to explore the history. There are many cheapest packages to check out around the country including desert tours, budget walking tours, and luxury cruises. Others who prefer to tour around independently may also do so.

Cairo, the administrative capital of Egypt, has kept much of its ancient treasures for many centuries. One of the most popular attractions in Cairo is the Egyptian Museum.  It has a lot of verity of Antiquities that features over 100,000 artifacts including materials from ancient royal tombs, mummies, and statues in more than 100 halls of the museum.  Exploring Coptic Cairo, the oldest part of the city, is like returning to the past as travelers tour around the archaic walls that still exist up to this day. Touring the now modern-looking Asfour Crystal Factory can be an interesting experience, since this factory has actually started manufacturing glass and cutting the material in varying shapes for more than 5,000 years. Tourists can also visit the Saladin Citadel, a massive stone fortress, built by Salah ad-Din way back the 12th century. Visitors can freely roam around the castle to learn about the history and mysteries of the site.
